The Robinson-Griffin Plan for North Carolina
is a Threat to Reproductive Rights

Mark Robinson is the Republican nominee for Governor. He is part of the extremist wing of the Republican Party who says life begins at conception and that “abortion is murder” “genocide,” and “shouldn’t ever happen.” He has promised to sign a total abortion ban with no exceptions as governor.

Robinson is also adamant that life begins at conception, saying “I don’t care how you slice it, I don’t care how you dice it, I don’t care what kinda science you do, life begins at conception.” 

Jefferson Griffin is the Republican nominee for the North Carolina Supreme Court. Griffin signed onto a legal opinion that also said life begins at conception. This dangerous view is similar to the Alabama ruling that put access to birth control and fertility treatments like IVF in danger earlier this year.

Robinson and Griffin pose a fundamental threat to our personal freedoms. With these men in charge, we could see a total abortion ban in North Carolina, and the rubber stamp to take away access to IVF and contraception. 

Both men are too extreme for North Carolina. We must stop them.
