Now, the highest-ranking Republican in state government and the GOP’s leading candidate for Governor, Mark Robinson, is claiming that once a woman becomes pregnant, “it’s not (her) body anymore.” Robinson has gone on to say that he is looking forward to getting “to move the ball” after the election by enacting further abortion restrictions, including a total ban on abortion in all circumstances. Some of Robinson’s fellow Republicans have already introduced legislation in the General Assembly that would do precisely that.
